Qs. Is there any additional training required for NMS Depression?

Answer: There is NO specific training requirement but there is an expectation in PQS.

While there are currently no face-to-face workshops available in the West Midlands, the following online training programmes are available to book on the CPPE website:

1. 18/11/25  Depression: having meaningful conversations – focal point – Zoom 19:00 – 20:45
2. 25/11/25 Depression: having meaningful conversations – focal point – Zoom 19:00 – 20:45
3. 02/12/25 Depression: having meaningful conversations – focal point – Zoom 19:00 – 20:45
4. 26/01/26 Depression: having meaningful conversations – focal point – Zoom 19:00 – 20:45
5. 19/03/26 Depression: having meaningful conversations – focal point  – Zoom 19:00 – 20:45

The LPC will notify contractors when a training provider organises a “depression” upskilling session applicable to NMS.
